Levente Németh started a health business as an agricultural engineer and farmer. He will soon open the first private MR diagnostic centre in the Rábaköz region in Szany. He thought that if he was not afraid to make long-term investments in agriculture, he could do the same in an otherwise foreign field.

"How did the rubber boots get to the doctor's office?" - Kisalföld asked Levente Németh from Szany. The young farmer was not offended by the question, as he himself knows that he did not undertake an everyday task. Being a "peasant's son", he has invested in the health sector and will soon open an MRI diagnostics centre in Szany. His own not so good experiences confirmed his decision to specialise in health care alongside agriculture.

The diagnostic centre is now ready. The MR equipment, which came from America, is in place. At the moment, the trial run is the current task at the clinic in Sany. Everything has been done to strict specifications by Levente Németh. For example, the walls of the "machine room" are covered with copper to shield the radio frequency.

- Five or six years ago, a relative of mine needed a test, and later I did too. The waiting time was very long, it took months to get in, and we travelled hundreds of kilometres to get in. It was already clear to me why this was the case. Why can't we have this important test done quickly, even in a few days? The idea matured in me, I read the literature on the Internet and even went to a centre through machine manufacturers, where I was able to learn in detail how such a clinic works. Then I realised that we work with high-value machinery in agriculture, we make long-term investments there too, we take out loans, so why not do the same in other fields? - Levente Németh talked about the background.

He added that as an agricultural engineer, he is also familiar with anatomy, because the late Professor Elemér Gergátz Gergátz also taught them the workings of the human body at the University of Mosonmagyaróvár. Of course, he also tried to learn the principles of MR diagnostic equipment.

- It is magnetic imaging, free from harmful effects such as radiation. The scan can be performed every day, as it does not burden the body. Now, during the trial period, if there was no patient volunteering, I went to bed several times myself. Fortunately, everything was found to be fine. Both in me and in the machine. I asked several manufacturers for quotes for the equipment, and finally chose an American machine. The building was available, I just had to find the financing. Fortunately, I managed to work with a company that had previously provided me with an agricultural loan. I got the permits and everything was set up according to the conditions," the owner explained.

Levente Németh says there is a serious team of doctors behind the business, who can evaluate the findings in up to four hours.

- At the practice in Szany, clients meet a receptionist and an operator. I have contracts with two teleradiology centres, where serious doctors and specialists work. They receive the images online and make the assessment. In an emergency, we give the patient a result within four hours, but depending on the tests, within twenty-four to seventy-two hours. We are located on the border of three counties, Győr-Moson-Sopron, Vas and Veszprém, and I am confident that there will be a demand for the tests. In the agricultural sector, we usually calculate a ten-year payback period for an investment, and I calculate the same for this one," he noted.

Levente Németh also said that his family and environment were not surprised when he came up with the idea. He says that they are used to his extreme proposals in agriculture. The Németh family is involved in pig breeding and arable farming.

- It is not unusual for investors to come to the health sector from a completely different field. For example, I have heard of a building contractor, a mould maker and a gardener," he said. And even a footballer recently, we add.
